I completed all three of my co-op work terms with Ernst & Young LLP In their St. John's office. In my time at EY I was exposed to numerous year-end financial audits of EY corporate clients. This gave me practical experience using audit tools, investigating audit variances, communicating with clients, and learning more about the audit process and procedure. Additionally, I was also Involved In the preparation of T2 Personal Tax Returns for various EY private tax clients.
I will be returning to EY for full time employment, and to pursue my CPA designation in the Fall of 2024.
In my role with the City of St. John's I have countless responsibilities, Including,
The supervision of the aquatic environment to ensure patron safety,
Instruction of swimming lessons to clients of all ages,
Supervision of aquatics staff and management of day-to-day pool operation,
Supervision of water safety Instructors and lesson paperwork.
Additionally, my time with the City has helped me develop strong Interpersonal skills through my communication with the public, and excellent problem solving skills arising from my experience dealing with emergent situations.
